Rugby Union: Bulls advance in rugby’s Super 14

Derick Hougaard scored all 27 points as the Bulls won at home in Pretoria 27-12 on Saturday. The Sharks beat another New Zealand power Auckland Blues 34-18 in Durban. No South African team has won the competition in its 11-year history. The Sharks are the only team from South Africa to reach the final losing twice.

Both sides tackled eagerly in a match that was fast and furious. The combination of Edmond Tumusime Richard Lumu Simon Wakabi and Felix Lubega among others put the tie out of reach for Morocco. The Moroccans looked destined to get on top but a resolved second half performance changed the tide for Tolbert nyango’s boys.
