The 23-year-old inside centre and flyhalf is joining an exodus of All Blacks taking advantage of big money on offer from European clubs. “There’s rugby but there’s also life outside rugby and it was a hard decision something I didn’t make overnight” McAlister told Television New Zealand. McAlister said he had also received offers from Irish club Munster and Toulouse in France before opting for Sale. “I guess it’s a familiar area I’ve been there before” he said.
