The governing body has called a press conference for 1115 GMT “with regard to a member of the Scotland squad failing an anti-doping test”. No further details were immediately released by the SRU ahead of the press conference at Murrayfield which was to be attended by the player concerned and the team’s doctor James Robson. Scotland have played three matches in this season’s Six Nations tournament losing at home to France and away to Wales before going down to a 34-13 defeat in Ireland on Saturday.
