Cal will face Army on May 1 at Stanford while BYU will play San Diego State. Army edged Penn State 20-19 in Marietta Ga. In the consolation game in Marietta Saint Mary’s beat Tennessee 20-15.

West Chester was the No. 8 seed in the bracket after their third place finish in the Mid Atlantic Rugby Union tournament last month. Saturday afternoon the Boise State men’s rugby team won a hard fought battle with Idaho 24-19. “We always have a good rivalry” Boise State’s Dave VanEps said. “We went up there last year and they beat us in a pretty hard-fought game last time and it was a pretty hard fought game today. Coming into the final stretch of playing time the game was tied 19 -19 and if the time ran out the game would have ended in a tie. With tensions already reaching the breaking point Boise State was able to push themselves into excellent field position for the winning score.
