Mr Murdoch through News International owns 43. 65 per cent of the pay TV operator. Fox Sports and Channel Nine will provide joint live television coverage of the event in Australia after cementing a deal last ctober with the International Rugby Board. The two broadcasters have also won the rights to broadcast the 2015 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

“We are in an exciting part of the soccer season right now” said Roger Hall managing director of Setanta Sports International. “Watching the closing stages of the UEFA Champions League FA Cup and Barclays Premier League along with the race to see which country will make it to South Africa for the World Cup. ”The company exclusively covers soccer and rugby and features matches from the biggest leagues in the world. Cox officials said the move is a way to provide soccer coverage to more of the sports fan base in the Southwest. Cox will have a free preview of the service from April 10 to 26.

The game might look like football – or maybe soccer – but it’s really a combination of the two. “It looks like a big mess but it’s really a logical game once you understand it” sophomore back Zach Wallenhorst said. The Kent State men’s rugby club is using this semester to develop the basic skills of the sport. The spring is time for rugby clubs to practice and prepare for the fall competition season. This past fall the team advanced to the Midwest Final Four and finished the season just one win away from the national championship. “They’ve had a taste of success” Kent State coach Donnie Harbert said.
