— Canada has jumped two places to 13th up the rankings ladder of the International Rugby Union following its win Saturday over the Republic of Georgia. The win leaves Canada atop the standings in Pool B with five points because of the bonus point victory. A tie or victory over Ireland ‘A’ on Wednesday night will put Canada into the Churchill Cup final for the first time in the seven-year history of the event. For Canadian team coach Kieran Crowley it’s a satisfying result after some hard work since he started with the team in April 2008. “It’s good to jump those couple of positions” said Crowley.
